Ed Berliner: The Man in the Arena
NFL plays the "snitch" game on COVID19, MLB reaping terrible decisions, college football powerplay.

One thing has become evident in the summer of COVID19: there is no more powerful athlete than the college football player. Led by the Pac-12 and Big 10, the game has been turned on its head and will never be the same. Players are now dictating to conferences, and next up is the money play. MLB has been exposed for the worst possible way in managing the pandemic, but players are far from off the hook. The NFL is in such turmoil they need players to start snitching on one another, while a lot of players fear an employment backlash from their COVID19 stand. We’ve never seen anything like it in sports, and that’s why we turn to “The Smartest Man in the Room”, Joe Casale in this edition of “Outside the Lines” on “The Man in the Arena”. Frankly, there is no other sports show on TV or radio that speaks so much truth in so little time.
